high-resolution satellite imagery
Offering the largest collection capacities and the quickest return time to any place on earth, RapidEye's constellation of five identical Earth Observation satellites allows us to reliably provide complete coverages of difficult-to-image areas and to fill our Archive with large quantities of current data. Our satellites can collect more than 4,000,000 km² of data daily, which makes RapidEye unique in providing large-area coverages.

A unique constellation of 5 identical earth observation satellites with unparalleled capabilities.
The RapidEye constellation of five satellites stands apart from other providers of satellite-based geospatial information in their unique ability to acquire high-resolution, large-area image data on a daily basis. The RapidEye system is able to collect an unprecedented 5 Million square kilometers of data per day at 6.5 meter nominal ground resolution, and has amassed over 2 Billion square kilometers in its archive in just two years of commercial operation.
